In what is the busiest offseason in recent memory for the Chicago Bulls, free agency has helped to build a postseason contender for this team heading into next season. It all started with the Bulls going out to nab restricted free agent point guard Lonzo Ball from the New Orleans Pelicans in a sign-and-trade deal back on the evening of Aug. 2.

Since then, the Bulls have made one solid signing and another massive addition. The other signing the Bulls made on Aug. 2 was the former Los Angeles Lakers point guard Alex Caruso.

And then that aforementioned massive signing came for the Bulls on the afternoon of Aug. 4. The Bulls went out to get star shooting guard/forward DeMar DeRozan from the San Antonio Spurs in a big sign-and-trade deal.

Chicago Bulls look to get stronger around Lonzo Ball this summer

It is very likely that we will see Lonzo and DeRozan in the starting five for the Bulls next season. We should also see Caruso become a key part of the bench.

The main focus for the rest of the offseason for the Bulls will remain on two things. The first is how the team is able to continue to build around this new core of Lonzo, DeRozan, forward Patrick Williams, star shooting guard Zach LaVine, and center Nikola Vucevic.

And the other big part of this offseason that has a lot of fans wondering is what will happen with fourth-year power forward Lauri Markkanen and second-year point guard Coby White.

But the focus here lies on what other free agents the Bulls can get that would be a good fit with Lonzo and some of the other new acquisitions. Here’s a look into three names to watch among the remaining free agents.
