This week is the first of the opening of the negotiation window around the NBA in free agency, and this will be a busy stretch of days for the Chicago Bulls organization. Free agency looked to be the likely busiest point on the Bulls’ offseason timeline. And with the conclusion of the 2021 NBA Draft last week, this now appears to be the case.

In what is bound to be one of the more active free agent cycles in recent memory for the Bulls, the next week or so should be a lot of fun. But it could also be a tense time for Bulls fans as there’s a ton on the line in free agency this cycle.

Executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley are about to have a much more active free agency this offseason than they did last. Last fall, all the moves that the Bulls really made involved re-signing a handful of restricted free agents and adding veteran shooting guard Garrett Temple on a one-year contract.

Stars that could be on the radar of the Chicago Bulls this week

There’s roughly a half-dozen key free agent decision for the Bulls to make this summer. And there could be even more player movement on the horizon depending on how active Karnisovas and the Bulls are on the trade block.

With a week that is of the utmost importance to the Bulls’ roster building efforts this summer on tap, which names should fans watch among the top players in free agency? Here’s a look into four stars to watch for the Bulls in free agency early in the first week of negotiations.
