A critical time is approaching for the Chicago Bulls front office this summer with the looming cycle of free agency. Early next month, the Bulls will finally be able to start their quest in the next cycle of free agency. We are also now one month away exactly from the start of the next cycle of free agency, which begins on Aug. 6.

It doesn’t seem like that long ago that first-year executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley were making moves in their first cycle of free agency with the Bulls. But it was a rather quiet offseason last year for Karnisovas, Eversley, and the Bulls.

All that the Bulls really signed last offseason was the former Brooklyn Nets veteran shooting guard Garrett Temple. They did re-sign some players last offseason such as shooting guard/wing Denzel Valentine and second-year shooting guard/wing Adam Mokoka.

Under-the-radar additions on the way for the Chicago Bulls this summer?

The other additions to the roster last fall included former Florida State Seminoles forward Patrick Williams (fourth pick in the 2020 draft) and KK Mega Bemax big man Marko Simonovic (44th pick).

More change is set to be on the horizon for the Bulls this offseason with more impending free agents. And Karnisovas and the Bulls had one full season to evaluate the talent on hand. They now have to find the right pieces for this supporting cast alongside the likes of star shooting guard Zach LaVine and center Nikola Vucevic.

But with not much cap space available for the Bulls’ front office this offseason, what are some deep sleeper options to target in this cycle of free agency?
