Who the Chicago Bulls can look to as the best players picked at No. 38: Chandler Parsons
Chandler Parsons may now be known for having a career collapse with the Memphis Grizzlies and becoming one of the most overpaid players of all time.
Struggling with injuries throughout his tenure, Parsons played just 95 games across three seasons in Memphis, averaging just 7.2 points per game on 39.3 percent shooting from the field.
Prior to his struggles in Grind City, Parsons was an instrumental piece of the James Harden/Dwight Howard-led Houston Rockets.
From 2011-2014, Parsons scored 14.1 points per game, along with 5.2 rebounds, solidifying himself as Houston’s third option at the time.
He then continued his efficient scoring in a bigger role in Dallas. In two seasons with the Mavericks, Parsons scored 14.8 points per game on 47.5 percent shooting from the field before leaving for Memphis in the summer of 2016.
His career may have hit a low point at the end of his time in the NBA, but in his prime, Parsons was as consistent as a small forward you could get outside of the upper echelon of All-Stars at the position.
