Future All-Stars the Chicago Bulls could get in the top four: Jalen Green

If he can develop a truly effective two-way skill set at the next level, then the former G-League Ignite star 6-foot-6 and 175-pound shooting guard Jalen Green. As one of the biggest names to pass on the traditional college route and take his talents straight to the G-League last year, the former elite five-star recruit Green made a name for himself playing pro ball right away.

Green has proven himself at multiple levels as a truly skilled offensive playmaker. But most of the question marks lie with his ability to facilitate the offense (if he does play in more of a combo guard role in the NBA) and with his one-on-one perimeter defending. Green is a decent rebounder and defender, but he likely still will be a net negative presence on that end of the floor out of the gates.

Where the strengths lie with Green are his creating and slashing ability, spot-up shooting, and athleticism that can allow him to stand out on both ends of the floor. His physical tools should allow him to make up for some of his other bad defensive tendencies out of the gates in the NBA.

Green has good length (6-foot-8 wingspan) and vertical leaping ability. He also shot the ball well with the G-League Ignite last season, 46 percent from the field and 37 percent from deep. If Green can figure it out on the defensive end of the floor and improve his efficiency as a primary ball-handler (when needed), then he does have All-Star potential in this league.
