The talk is certainly heating up of late concerning any moves that the Chicago Bulls could make to get help at the point guard position this summer. It is going to be a hot topic of debate all offseason long (at least until the Bulls can sign/trade for a point guard) to see who this team winds up with to help round out the starting five.

There’s also some level of appeal now for the Bulls to pursue someone like the Philadelphia 76ers three-time All-Star point guard Ben Simmons. One big-time point guard has already hit the trade block this offseason, with the former Boston Celtics and Charlotte Hornets star Kemba Walker landing with the Oklahoma City Thunder last week.

And more trades could be on the way involving high-profile point guards this offseason. Considering both conference finals series have not even started yet, the fact that big-time point guard trades are already going down could be a sign of things to come this summer.

Who are the most realistic point guards to watch for the Chicago Bulls?

The Bulls could certainly be one of the teams involved in the movement of big point guards in the coming months. If options are not too appealing in free agency to find a permanent solution to the Bulls’ point guard problem, then hitting the trade market could very well be the next best way to go.

But before the Bulls focus too much on finding a trade target at the point guard position, the most cost-efficient way to fill this need is likely going to be free agency. That is if the Bulls don’t luck out on June 22 and get their first-round pick back with top-four protection (goes to the Orlando Magic otherwise).

Here’s a look into three of the most realistic point guards for the Bulls to land this offseason.
