With a free agent class looming that has somehow worked its way into the discussion of being underrated, the Chicago Bulls front office should be able to take full advantage to continue building out the roster around their star duo. The main task at hand for the Bulls front office in free agency this summer is building around star shooting guard Zach LaVine and center Nikola Vucevic to win in the near term.

Finding the right pieces to fit around the likes of LaVine, rookie forward Patrick Williams, second-year point guard Coby White, etc. over the long haul is also an important theme of the offseason. Executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley are likely looking to make at least a few more big splash moves this offseason.

Postseason woes can be solved partially by a strong free agent haul for the Chicago Bulls

The talk of the town for the Bulls seems to be landing someone like the New Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball or swinging for the fences for someone like Chris Paul or Kawhi Leonard. But the Bulls might have to dig deeper to find a complete rotation that is ready to compete for a spot in the postseason in 2022 to end the four-year drought.

Karnisovas and Eversley surprised some with their move to sign former Brooklyn Nets veteran shooting guard Garrett Temple out of free agency last offseason. Expecting more moves that could be more unexpected could be on the horizon for the Bulls entering this cycle of free agency.

Here’s a look into four appealing free agent targets for the Bulls this summer that really no one is talking about.
