One player at each position for the Chicago Bulls to target this summer: JaMychal Green, PF

A personal favorite offseason target of mine to fill an emerging positional need in the Bulls rotation is the Denver Nuggets veteran power forward JaMychal Green. The 6-foot-8 and 230-pound former Alabama Crimson Tide big man and 30-year-old Green is set to be one of the more underrated potential trade targets for the Bulls this offseason.

Green very well could land with his third team in the last three years this summer if the Nuggets wind up trading him. And considering they’re looking to reconstruct the roster around the MVP winner and superstar big man Nikola Jokic, we could see a youth movement going on in the Mile High City before too long.

The Nuggets have a plethora of big men that are impending free agents and/or looming trade chips for their front office. That list includes Green, rising star forward Michael Porter Jr., and veteran power forward Paul Millsap, among others.

Since Green also has a looming player option that he could turn down this summer, there is the chance that he could hit the unrestricted free agent market. That could make it even easier for Karnisovas and the Bulls to pick him up if they so desire.

Green is a particular trade target that should be of interest to the Bulls since he could be a nice fit to round out the frontcourt rotation along with Vooch, Theis, P-Will, veteran forward Thaddeus Young, etc., heading into next season.

Honorable Mention: Trey Lyles

Since the Bulls could be losing fourth-year power forward Lauri Markkanen via restricted free agency this summer, Donovan might want to add another floor spacing big man to the mix. Hence why the San Antonio Spurs power forward and impending unrestricted free agent Trey Lyles could make sense as a replacement for Lauri.
