Celtics Recieve: Lauri Markkanen, Denzel Valentine, 2022 Second Round Pick
This first potential option is hinged on signing and trading Lauri Markkanen to Boston. It has been documented countless times now that Markkanen continues to look less and less like he is in the long-term plans for the Bulls. Because of this, it would be smart for the Bulls to potentially cash in on his value to improve the roster.
By attaching him with another wing whom the Bulls don’t seem to value in Denzel Valentine (plus a pick), it allows for Chicago to begin to mold the roster around Lavine and Vucevic, surrounding
them with pieces that make more sense. As for Boston, they get another big who can fit nicely with Brown and Tatum, as well as another young piece to either attempt to develop or flip later on down the line.
