Entering what will be a much shorter offseason for the Chicago Bulls in 2021 than it was in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic last year, there’s a lot to do for this front office. The Bulls are guaranteed to be a talking point around the NBA landscape this offseason, especially with a fruitful cycle of free agency potentially on the horizon.

Executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley stayed pretty quiet last offseason, their first at the helm in Chicago. There wasn’t much to do with that free agent market, so it was best to stay put and evaluate further what the Bulls had on hand.

Chicago Bulls need more change following a bad end to the regular season

That resulted in the Bulls posting a record of 31-41 under the direction of first-year head coach Billy Donovan during the regular season. The Bulls fell just a handful of games short of ending their postseason drought at four years. But they finished behind the likes of the Indiana Pacers, Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards, etc., and missed out on the postseason yet again.

A lot of questions are being asked in the Windy City about what change could be on the horizon compared to what current personnel the Bulls have on hand. There are quite a few looming free agent decisions that the Bulls have to make this summer.

Free agency is sure to be a busy time for Karnisovas and the Bulls, as they look to put this roster in the best position possible to keep improving in the win column next season. Here’s a look at three Bulls players who likely won’t be returning next season so that the front office can improve the roster.
