At the time of the Chicago Bulls winning all of those NBA Championships in the 1990s during the dynasty years, the team revolved around all-time great shooting guard Michael Jordan and Hall-of-Fame forward Scottie Pippen. You still have to note legendary head coach Phil Jackson, along with stellar big men Dennis Rodman and Horace Grant in that discussion of the powering forces for the 1990s Bulls teams.

The days of the Bulls winning all of those titles behind the efforts of Jordan, Pippen, Jackson, etc. are long gone now, though. The Bulls have become one of the bottom teams in the Eastern Conference standings year in and year out over the course of the last four seasons. But that could soon be turning around under the direction of a new front office regime and head coach Billy Donovan.

Finishing up the 2020-21 regular season with a record of 31-41, Donovan and the Bulls wound up missing the postseason for the fourth straight year. The pieces do look to be in place, though, for the Bulls to finally make it back to the postseason in the near future. That four-year postseason drought could end in Chicago as soon as 2022.

Bringing back that winning attitude that Michael Jordan had with the Chicago Bulls

The attitude around this Bulls organization looks to have changed in the past 15 months. That all started with bringing in the new front office regime of executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley in place of John Paxson and Gar Forman. Replacing former head coach Jim Boylen with Donovan helped too.

Yet, the Bulls still need to get it right in the locker room and on the court night in and night out. Bringing a similar attitude and at least some of that winning culture that Jordan and Pippen instilled a few decades ago with the Bulls could be key.

With that in mind, here’s a look at three players on the Bulls’ current roster that have the mindset that Jordan would love out of a teammate.
