A busy offseason lies ahead for the Chicago Bulls, as this will be the second summer under this front office. But it will be the first somewhat usual offseason for the Bulls under the front office regime of executive VP of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley. This past offseason happened last fall and happened under a very sped-up timeline.

More change should also be on the way for Karnisovas and the Bulls after an inconsistent showing during the regular season. The roster did already go through a lot of change during the regular season, including a few big additions at the trade deadline back on March 25.

The biggest move of all for Karnisovas and the Bulls back on deadline day involved getting star center Nikola Vucevic from the Orlando Magic along with veteran forward Al-Farouq Aminu. In return for that big haul, the Bulls had to ship off two first-round draft picks, third-year center Wendell Carter Jr., and veteran small forward Otto Porter Jr.

Arturas Karnisovas still has a long way to go with the Chicago Bulls

It’s also worth mentioning the deadline additions of former Boston Celtics center Daniel Theis, shooting guard Javonte Green, and ex-Washington Wizards shooting guard/small forward Troy Brown Jr.

Although the Bulls were buyers at the deadline and made a good number of big moves they still missed out on the postseason for the fourth straight year. They wound up finishing the regular season with a record of 31-41.

With all of that in mind, here’s a look into three big looming decisions Karnisovas has to make with the Bulls this offseason.
