While the Chicago Bulls season ended in disappointment from a team perspective, a few players stood out as finishing the season in strong fashion. It’s a good sign for the future of these players and is worth being excited about from the perspective of a fan.

When the season ends in as much disappointment compared to expectations people had not too long ago, it’s worth finding the good to keep a positive outlook moving forward. Not all was bad for the Bulls just because the bad outweighed the good down the stretch.

Another reason to care about this is all four players have a strong chance of returning to the team next season. The end of the season, when the team was relatively healthy finally, could be something the team can build on heading into next season.

With the right additions and building on these player’s performances, the Chicago Bulls could be a much better team at the start f the 2021-22 NBA season.

Chicago Bulls that Finished the Season Strong: Zach LaVine

LaVine had a frustrating end to the season more than anything else, thanks to missing a number of games in the league’s health and safety protocols. When he finally could return, though, he picked up right where he left off and made sure Bulls fans didn’t forget about the major step he took this season.

In the month of May, which he only played five games, LaVine shot the ball incredibly on his way to averaging 26.6 points per game. He shot 52.6 percent from the field and 45 percent from behind the arc.

While his return was too little too late, it naturally made fans wonder where the Bulls would have finished if he wasn’t forced to miss so much time late in the season. The Bulls went 4-1 in the five games LaVine played in the month of May.
