There’s a lot to reflect on for first-year head coach Billy Donovan and the Chicago Bulls following the conclusion of a regular season that provides both disappointment looking back, and some hope for the franchise moving forward. The Bulls likely should’ve been able to get one of the spots in the play-in tournament in the Eastern Conference this year, over competing teams like the Washington Wizards, Charlotte Hornets, and Indiana Pacers.

Donovan and the Bulls wound up finishing up the 2020-21 regular season with a record of 31-41 following a somewhat surprising win at home at the United Center over the divisional foe Milwaukee Bucks back on May 16. The Bulls did at least end the regular season mostly on the right foot, but that also set them back in the draft lottery odds.

With more change likely on the horizon for the Bulls this offseason, a lot of fans are eager to see what happens in this cycle of free agency and on the trade block.

Arturas Karnisovas bringing more change for the Chicago Bulls in 2021?

To-be second-year executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley do have their hands full again this offseason. They had a full season to evaluate the roster at hand, and can now make the necessary changes to continue building around the key pieces to their new core.

It was a mostly quiet offseason last fall for the Bulls, but that is likely to change this summer. A more fruitful cycle of free agency and more action on the trade block could involve this team in a big way.

With that in mind, here’s a look into three middling Bulls players that could be hitting the trade block this offseason.
