Chicago Bulls trades to deal Al-Farouq Aminu: Another two for one player swap

The potential for Karnisovas and the Bulls to consider trading away their final remaining 2021 draft pick comes back in the last hypothetical deal on this list. Unless the Bulls get very lucky in the draft lottery and land in the top four, they will see their first-round draft pick land with the Magic. Their 2021 first-round draft pick was traded away with top-four protection.

One interesting idea for the Bulls could be getting in trade discussions with a divisional foe with some player capital they are familiar with. In this case, the Bulls get involved in trade discussions with the Detroit Pistons to get some familiar faces to the Windy City.

While the relations between the former Kansas Jayhawks wing/forward Josh Jackson and the Bulls star guard LaVine looked to be heated in the season that was, that might not extend off-the-court.

You would hope for that if the Bulls could strike up a deal that gets them Jackson and shooting guard Rodney McGruder (who just had one of the best seasons of his career) from the Pistons in return for their 2021 second-round draft pick and Aminu. This could really help the Bulls solidify their backcourt/wing rotation too.

The Bulls once again would be limiting their cap sheet and roster space a little bit more if they took on the contracts of Jackson and McGruder. Otherwise, this deal comes out well in terms of salary matching, and each team has the roster room to make this happen.
