What’s clear for the Bulls is that they are likely set at the two-guard and at center moving forward with LaVine and Vooch in place. While Donovan and the Bulls could likely maneuver Vooch to play at the four, and/or LaVine to move to the three if needed, those two stars playing at the two and the five make the most sense.

Finding the right support places, particularly to round out the frontcourt and backcourt rotations, will be key for the front office this offseason. A particular free agent target that sticks out that could help the Bulls round out the frontcourt rotation is the usually underrated 6-foot-8 and 230-pound 30-year-old power forward JaMychal Green.

As a big man that is accustomed to winning at most of his stops in his career to date, Green would be a valuable addition to this rotation and Bulls locker room. He’s played for solid teams with the Memphis Grizzlies, San Antonio Spurs, Denver Nuggets, and Los Angeles Clippers, in his career thus far. The current team he’s with is the Nuggets.

Green played well so far this season in a frontcourt rotation along with MVP contender and superstar center Nikola Jokic, veteran power forward Paul Millsap, journeyman center JaVale McGee, and former Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon, among others. He could find himself in a similar beneficial role in the Bulls’ frontcourt rotation.

The current contract for Green pays him just north of $7 million annually. He has an impending player option this offseason, that if he declines, could make him a sought-after target of the Bulls in free agency.
