The two-time All-Star selection and 2015-16 Rookie of the Year Karl-Anthony Towns remains one of the most undervalued superstars in the NBA today. And that’s largely thanks to the fact that he’s spent his entire career playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 6-foot-11 and 250 pound 25-year-old former Kentucky Wildcats big man is still an established star in this league.

By most indications, KAT is still happy playing in the Twin Cities. Although he has yet to make a playoff run even once in his career to date, he seems to want to help build something with the Timberwolves. Maybe something more positive is just around the corner for a young core that has turned over plenty of times in the past five years.

However, it would be very intriguing if Karnisovas was able to find a way to reunite the duo of LaVine and KAT with the Bulls in the near future. LaVine played with KAT in the early days of his NBA career out of the UCLA Bruins basketball program. If they were to play together again in a Bulls uniform, it could easily lead this team back into the playoffs for the first time since 2017.

Clearly, the main problem that Donovan and the Bulls would face if KAT were to land in the Windy City lies on the defensive end of the floor. The Bulls are already one of the worst defensive teams in the East, and boasting a starting frontcourt unit of Vooch and KAT would mean even more defensive liabilities in the mix.

The main positive would be how difficult this Bulls offense would be to stop if this trio were to form of LaVine, Vooch, and KAT.
