With just four games remaining in the regular season, the Chicago Bulls don’t have much time left to prove that they are worth a spot in the play-in tournament. And they don’t entirely control their own destiny in the race to land a spot in the play-in tournament later this month either. It is largely up to the Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers to seal their own fate down the stretch this season.

First-year head coach Billy Donovan and the Bulls currently hold a record of 29-39, and ride a three-game winning streak heading into their meeting with the Brooklyn Nets at home at the United Center on the night of May 11. The Bulls do still sit at least 2.5 games behind both the Pacers and Wizards.

What remains for Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, and the Chicago Bulls?

And the schedule doesn’t lighten up much at all through the remaining four games this regular season. They have one matchup each against the Toronto Raptors and divisional foe Milwaukee Bucks, and then two meetings with the Nets. Three of their final four games of the regular season come against two of the top three teams in the Eastern Conference standings at the moment.

The Raptors might not be any pushover either down the stretch.

Even with their odds slim, it’s nice to see the Bulls building up some momentum heading into the offseason. In what could be a very busy offseason for the Bulls’ front office regime during a fruitful looming cycle of free agency, it is important to show a positive image to other players around the NBA.

The Bulls could also hit the trade block to try and build up their roster heading into next season. Boasting a star duo like center Nikola Vucevic and shooting guard Zach LaVine is certainly something that should appeal to other NBA stars in the near future.

With that in mind, here’s a look into three potential grand prize trade targets that the Bulls can look into in the near future to form a big three with Vucevic and LaVine.
