During their time together in Orlando, Vooch and the 6-foot-6 and 215 pound 30-year-old shooting guard/small forward James Ennis had some productive years. While they played together with the Magic for only two seasons, Ennis and Vooch also had skill sets that complemented each other nicely.

Ennis is one of the more underrated wings in the NBA today, and he’s about to hit the free agent market this offseason. He’s currently in the midst of the final year of his current contract, which is worth only $3.3 million for the base salary. If the Bulls were able to get Ennis at a price tag like this one, it would be a nice find off the free agent market.

Ennis is a solid wing that can certainly fill a type of three-and-D role off of the bench. He’s consistently improved his defensive ability in smaller chunks, and his three-point shooting percentages are getting better too. He’s registered a career-best -0.2 defensive box plus/minus rating and a three-point shooting percentage above 43.0 this season.

The defensive box plus/minus rating isn’t fantastic, but his length and athleticism can still serve him well defending the wing off the bench. And the rest of his counting stats and shooting percentages aren’t too shabby this season either.

Ennis has averaged 8.4 points per game, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.2 blocks. And he’s shot 47.3 percent from the field, 43.3 percent from beyond the arc, and 80.5 percent from the free-throw line.
