A three-game winning streak is now established for the Chicago Bulls following a key triumph over the divisional foe Detroit Pistons by a comfortable margin of a dozen points on the road in the Motor City on May 9. That win over the Pistons also now makes it three straight double-digit wins for first-year head coach Billy Donovan and the Bulls. The Bulls now sport a record of 29-39 following this triumph over the Pistons and head coach Dwayne Casey to round out the weekend.

What proved to be a turning point for Donovan and the Bulls down the stretch was the return of their top star duo of shooting guard Zach LaVine and center Nikola Vucevic. LaVine, Vooch, and the Bulls look like a completely different team in the last three games than they did in the dozen prior.

It’s no wonder that the Bulls are playing much better with their two top stars back in the starting five. But it might wind up being too little too late to get a spot in the play-in tournament with just four games remaining in the regular season.

LaVine is playing well for the Bulls of late, but it is the spark that Vooch has provided that has really lifted this team up in the last three games. And the Bulls look like they will continue to move in the right direction building around the duo of LaVine and Vooch.

Moves that the new front office regime makes this offseason will be directed around the skill sets of LaVine and Vooch. Supporting the skill sets of the likes of rookie forward Patrick Williams, second-year point guard Coby White, etc. will also be important on decisions made for alterations to the roster construction.

With that in mind, here’s a look at six former teammates of Vooch that the Bulls’ front office could target this offseason to effectively build the roster around him and LaVine.
