A name that was mentioned on that last part of this list is one to potentially watch for Karnisovas and the Bulls heading into what promises to be a busy 2021 offseason in the Windy City. Lowry is now 35 years old, and the Philadelphia, PA, native is not currently producing at the same level that he once was during the prime of his NBA career.

Yet, there’s still a ton of value that someone like the veteran Lowry could bring to the table for a building team in the Easter Conference like the Bulls. Donovan would also have another veteran that he could rely upon in the starting five. The Bulls would have an unquestioned facilitator and a solid point guard playing next to LaVine moving forward.

Lowry is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, which means he could leave Toronto for the first time in nearly a decade. The former Houston Rocket and Memphis Grizzly seems like this will be his final year playing for the Raptors. Just like his former teammate DeRozan, Lowry doesn’t have a player or team option that is waiting to be picked up this offseason.

Moreover, if the Bulls were able to get Lowry for a price roughly around $20 million this offseason, it might be worth looking into the interest he has in signing here. But there might be a good number of suitors that Lowry has this offseason, thus a bidding war might get too expensive for the Bulls when it’s all said and done.
