Chicago Bulls: 3 players that will most likely be traded for in the offseason
There are already a lot of Chicago Bulls fans looking into what the new front office regime could do to continue building up this roster in the right direction heading into the offseason. The Bulls aren’t all that far from having to address what could be a laundry list of needs this coming offseason, as this season hasn’t quite gone as planned since the trade deadline last month.
Since the trade deadline, the Bulls have faced a myriad of challenges, including the absence of key players like star shooting guard Zach LaVine, second-year point guard Coby White, and veteran shooting guard Garrett Temple, at different points in the past few weeks.
They’ve also got some inconsistent play out of key players like recently acquired star center Nikola Vucevic, fourth-year power forward Lauri Markkanen, Coby when healthy, combo guard Tomas Satoransky, and rookie forward Patrick Williams, among others, since the trade deadline passed back on March 25. But those inconsistencies need to work themselves out soon if the Bulls want to find more sustained success in the win column down the stretch.
Chicago Bulls configuring plans for next offseason
Following a key win over head coach Erik Spoelstra and the Miami Heat on the road at American Airlines Arena on the night of April 26, the Bulls hold a record of 26-35. They have won two of their last three games, and four of their last six. Hopefully, this is a sign that they are permanently turning the corner ahead of the final stretch run of the regular season.
It’s hard to say that no matter what significant changes aren’t ahead for the Bulls this coming offseason. This is a big looming cycle of free agency, and the new front office could once again be active on the trade market.
With that in mind, here’s a look at three players that the Bulls could be likely to trade for this offseason.
