One of the safer options on this list that the Bulls could sign down to a 10-day contract this year is the former Cavs big man Ante Zizic. The 24-year-old 6-foot-10 and 270 pound center was a 23rd overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft of the Celtics. But Zizic never actually played in a single game for the Celtics.

Instead, it was the Cavaliers that did make pretty good use out of Zizc over the course of his three seasons with the team. Zizic fit more of a traditional big man role with the Cavaliers, but he was efficient in doing so. It’s pretty hard to believe that he’s not with another NBA team as he’s still in his early-to-mid 20s.

The Bulls could use some help on the glass, and contending down low on the defensive end of the floor. After parting ways with the likes of second-year center Daniel Gafford, former New York Knicks center Luke Kornet, and third-year center Wendell Carter Jr. at the trade deadline this year, the Bulls were left thin at some points of the frontcourt rotation.

That could be filled immediately if the Bulls were to sign a big man like Zizic to a 10-day contract.

In more than 110 career regular season games played with the Cavs, Zizic averaged 6.0 points per game, 3.9 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.2 steals, and 0.4 blocks. And he shot 58.1 percent from the field, had no attempts from beyond the arc, and shot 71.1 percent from the free-throw line.
