As the Chicago Bulls make decisions regarding their short and long-term outlook as an organization, it is obvious the team will be moving on from more players in the coming months. That is the nature of the business, as well.
That combined with an aggressive front office means that the Bulls will be looking to continue their reshaping of the organization in the style of Arturas Karnisovas and his team. Billy Donovan will also play a crucial role.
That means the first thing to look at on the Bulls is their upcoming free agency class. Some players are all but a lock to not return, while some may be wanted back but the market may take them out of the Bulls price range.
Obviously, Chicago will be careful with what they spend and who they spend it on as they have a significant amount of money tied up to Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic moving forward. The last thing the organization wants to do is limit themselves in building around those two.
There will be money to be made in free agency this offseason, though not the money everyone once thought would be available in this free agency class. Still, with top-tier names off the market that were once expected to be available, agents will be working hard to earn their clients top-notch pay on their next contract.
Which Bulls fit this bill? Well, a couple. The end of this season may play a significant role in how much these players get paid and for how many years they sign with whatever team they end up with.
