Chicago Bulls: 4 players that have completely disappeared of late
On the night of April 12, first-year head coach Billy Donovan and his struggling Chicago Bulls team extended their losing streak to three games at a critical point of the season. Donovan and the Bulls fell short in a winnable game against the Memphis Grizzlies and rising star point guard Ja Morant on April 13, by a sizable double-digit margin.
After the Grizzlies got the best of the Bulls at the FedEx Forum in Memphis on April 12 by the final score of 101-90, Donovan’s team moved even further out of the top eight in the Eastern Conference standings. With the Toronto Raptors catching up with the Bulls in the standings in the East, and the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks rapidly pulling away from them, things are not looking good at the moment.
The other two losses that the Bulls registered to build up this losing streak came against the Minnesota Timberwolves and Atlanta Hawks last weekend. Falling short to the Timberwolves on the road back on April 11 was a really tough loss for the Bulls since that team is in last place in the NBA.
The Bulls also pulled off an impressive feat in losing to star point guard Trae Young and the Hawks on April 9, despite a season-high 50 points from star shooting guard Zach LaVine.
Chicago Bulls needing to turn the corner immediately
This was supposed to be a point at the Bulls’ schedule in which they could make up ground for a difficult stretch of games last month against a lot of playoff-caliber Western Conference foes. Instead, the Bulls are doing worse now than they have since the All-Star Break concluded.
The new front office regime made a lot of key moves on trade deadline day back on March 25. But the Bulls have gone just 3-7 in their 10 games since the trade deadline. Things have to improve, and soon.
Here’s a look at four Bulls players that have disappeared in the last few games that need to also turn the corner for this team to find more success in the win column.
