Another player that the Bulls tried their hand in signing in Training Camp ahead of the start of this regular season slate was the veteran former Indiana Hoosiers power forward Noah Vonleh. There are now two occasions where the Bulls signed Vonleh at different points of his career. The only time where he played in a regular season game with the Bulls was in 2017-18, the first year of the rebuild.

At the young age of 25 still, Vonleh has already played for a whopping seven different NBA teams. Since the start of Training Camp in 2020 alone, Vonleh has suited up for two different teams. He started out the preseason with the Bulls but was waived before the turn of the calendar year. And then he signed with the Brooklyn Nets earlier in 2021. The Nets wound up waiving Vonhel well ahead of the trade deadline.

Vonleh is already becoming one of those career journeymen in the NBA now that still serves a lot of value and could still find some growth in his game. If he can find some traction with just one team, then Vonleh could turn into a bona fide second unit big men that plays a solid two-way game. He rebounds well, is a good one-on-one defender for the most part, and has good fundamental footwork down low.

Without much playing time with the Nets this season prior to getting waived more than one month ago, Vonleh will be seeking out another spot where he can make an impact down the stretch. The last time that Vonleh really had a solid spot in a rotation with any NBA team was back during the 2018-19 season with the Knicks.
