Chicago Bulls: 3 players least likely to return to the team post-deadline
Following a huge run at the trade deadline for first-year Chicago Bulls executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley back on March 25, the team has lost two straight games. The start that many Bulls fans envisioned that this team would get off to post-deadline is not what transpired out on the floor in their last two road games, which resulted in losses at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors.
Karnisovas and Eversley made some big splash moves at the trade deadline, including landing the former Orlando Magic star big man Nikola Vucevic, Boston Celtics two-way big man Daniel Theis, and Washington Wizards small forward Troy Brown Jr., among others.
The Bulls pulled off their big first trade of deadline day with the Magic, which saw them send two first round draft picks along with third-year center Wendell Carter Jr. and veteran small forward Otto Porter Jr. for the return of Vucevic and forward Al-Farouq Aminu. They mortgaged a lot of their future to land Vucevic, but the move definitely excited the fan base, and with good reason.

Then, the Bulls made a deal with the Wizards to get big man Mo Wagner and the 21-year-old Brown Jr. for a return of second-year center Daniel Gafford and third-year small forward Chandler Hutchison. The Bulls would wind up flipping Wagner to the Celtics, along with center Luke Kornet, to get the return of Theis and 27-year-old shooting guard Javonte Green.
All in all, it was a busy day for the Bulls’ new front office regime, but one that will greatly impact further roster shifts next offseason. Which three Bulls players are now the least likely to return for the 2021-22 campaign after a busy trade deadline?
