Helping out the guard position

With that said the lack of a second playmaking guard behind Zach LaVine is still a glaring need on this team. Every game, we see the need for a dynamic threat, whether its scoring droughts or spurts of sloppy offensive play. The point guard spot is still a work in progress and a dire need.

Anything would help at this point in the season. If the Bulls plan to make this play-off push, the new front office of Vice President Arturas Karnisovas, General Manager Marc Eversley and first year head coach Billy Donovan should be getting prepared to make a move. I am not expecting a splashy guard trade but at the least a playmaker.

There are quite a few decent guards that could be available to come in and help instantly. Literally, the addition of a playmaker is all the Bulls need to become better and add more consistency in that position. This playmaker should have a high basketball IQ but does not need to be a scorer, just a solid decision maker.

Personally, I would like to see the likes of Victor Oladipo in a Bulls uniform. He would instantly catapult this young Bulls team, but I would also settle with a Lonzo Ball upgrade at the guard spot. The idea is adding a playmaker, to help this team become more consistent down the stretch.

Someone to come in and help the offense out in crunch time and give LaVine some help in late game situations. Oladipo would be a perfect fit next to our All-Star guard. We would have a one-two-punch that would wreak havoc on NBA defenses.

Ball could be our defensive guard playmaker. He also has size and is an above average on ball defender. His shooting has improved through the years but his defense would be what he would bring to Chicago.

His solid defense would help to create offense and also would help in those crunch time games when we need a stop. Ball has good passing skills in the open court. The Bulls like to run the floor so, adding another playmaking guard to run with adds a fun factor in the fast-break.
