The trade deadline looms large as a point of importance for just about every team around the NBA, now in less than two weeks. On March 25, the Chicago Bulls new front office regime will have their last shot to hit the trade market to try and continue building up this roster. But the main looming question mark will be what first-year executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley decide to do at the deadline.

More specifically, will Karnisovas and Eversley assume the role of a buyer or seller at the trade deadline is the question Bulls fans will be asking in the coming days. The Bulls do still sit within striking distance of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference following their comfortable 118-95 home win over the Toronto Raptors on March 14.

Following their win over the Raptors, the Bulls now hold a record of 17-20. That win to cap the weekend also helped the Bulls snap their two-game losing streak out of the gates for the second half of the regular season schedule. They had two bad losses since the All-Star Break concluded, but some of the worries were pushed aside against the Raptors.

Considering first-year head coach Billy Donovan is having trouble identifying the direction both for the young core and his team as a whole, figuring out the appropriate role for the Bulls at the deadline is hazy. Which players should the Bulls be looking to shop regardless of the role they take on at the deadline?

Here’s a look at three Bulls players least likely to be with the team following the trade deadline this year.
