1) Warriors trades with the Chicago Bulls for OPJ

This trade deal that sees Karnisovas and the Bulls send OPJ to the Warriors is also the most complex on the list. If the Bulls really want to see a lot of movement at the trade deadline, then they could get more players involved in this trade deal. At the same time, the Bulls could move their rebuild forward while keeping a bright future alive for the young core.

They wouldn’t have to move any key pieces of the young core such as star shooting guard Zach LaVine, second-year point guard Coby White, and/or rookie forward Patrick Williams. The two key pieces of the young core that they would have to part ways with are third-year center Wendell Carter Jr. and fourth-year power forward Lauri Markkanen.

Since this is the final year of the rookie contract for Markkanen, it would make sense to trade him at the deadline later this month if the new front office regime doesn’t see a future for him in the Windy City.

This move would also ensure that Donovan and the Bulls have a healthier starting frontcourt on a consistent basis moving forward. Green would be able to flank Williams playing in more of a small ball lineup. The Bulls still get that elusive boost to their wing and backcourt rotations by landing key pieces such as Poole and Wiggins.

The Bulls are moving on from a lot of key players in this potential trade deal, but the salaries would match up on both sides. Combo guard/wing Tomas Satoransky would help the Bulls and Warriors get to that point. What ices the cake for the Bulls in this potential trade deal with the Warriors is the future first round draft pick that they get in the mix.
