1. Zach LaVine has gone supernova

It’s an understatement to say that Zach LaVine has been on fire. He’s gone fully supernova, blazing hot and scorching any team that tries to slow him down in February.

Throughout this month LaVine has put up 31.4 points (fourth in the NBA) on an absurd 53.7 percent shooting from the field and 48.0 shooting from beyond the arc.

LaVine has been the most obvious source of success for the Bulls this season. The first time All-Star has been outstanding for the Bulls, especially late in games.

LaVine is the league’s leading clutch scorer among players to appear in at least 10 clutch games, averaging 5.0 clutch points per game. (NBA.com defines clutch as the last five minute of a game when the difference in score is 5 or less points)

When the Bulls need a bucket, LaVine has always been there to go and get one.

Having a star like LaVine makes winning close games much easier, something that the Bulls desperately need with their league leading 19 games in the clutch.

The Bulls play in a lot of close games, and LaVine is the key to coming away with wins.
