1) Chicago Bulls best All-Stars since 2010

Derrick Rose, Point Guard

What better way to cap off a list like this after the Bulls just got their first All-Star nod in more than three years by reminiscing about the prime years of D-Rose’s career early in his run in his home city. D-Rose is the youngest MVP in league history, and was the first for the Bulls since Jordan when he brought the honors back to the Windy City in the 2010-11 season.

Rose is a three-time NBA All-Star selection, one-time All-NBA selection, 2010-11 MVP honoree, and the 2008-09 Rookie of the Year. And he’s finding a way to reignite his career of late with the Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks.

However, of the three All-Star selections that Rose had during his career (specifically during his run with the Bulls), the most special has to be from that magical 2010-11 campaign. That was the year where he notched his second All-Star nod, and where he won MVP.

During the 2010-11 campaign, Rose averaged a career-high 25.0 points per game, 4.1 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.6 blocks. And he shot 44.5 percent from the field, 33.2 percent from beyond the arc, and 85.8 percent from the free-throw line.

All of that amounted to a career-best 6.8 box plus/minus rating, 6.7 value over replacement player rating, .208 win shares per 48 minutes, 13.1 total win shares, 113 offensive rating/103 defensive rating, 55.0 true shooting percentage, and a 23.5 player efficiency rating.

The second best performance that Rose had in an All-Star Game came in 2011. He registered 11 points, three rebounds, five assists, and one steal.
