2) Unsuspecting Chicago Bulls who could be traded

Denzel Valentine, Shooting Guard/Small Forward

One player that was very versatile for Donovan and the Bulls out of the gates this season, and surprisingly so, is the former Michigan State Spartans 6-foot-4 and 220 pound shooting guard/small forward Denzel Valentine. The former lottery pick from the 2016 NBA Draft out of the Michigan State hoops program is having likely his most productive season in the NBA to date.

Valentine has started in three of the 24 games he’s played in for the Bulls so far this season, averaging around 20 minutes on the floor per game. He’s become one of the most important role players off the bench for the Bulls. Valentine’s ability to distribute the ball, create his own shots, and efficiently hit his looks from downtown makes him a valuable player for Donovan.

Moreover, Valentine has averaged 8.3 points per game, 3.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 steals, and no blocks. He’s shot 38.5 percent from the field, 37.3 percent from beyond the arc, and is perfect on six attempts from the free-throw line.

If the Bulls are willing to at least look into what offers they could get for Valentine, then they might be able to get a decent return by the time the deadline arrives next month. Valentine would likely draw a plethora of suitors if he were to be shopped by the Bulls.

A healthy Otto Porter Jr. would be necessary for the Bulls to want to part ways with the likes of Valentine at any point drawing near the trade deadline, though.
