On the night of Feb. 15, the Chicago Bulls will get their first opportunity to face a divisional foe on the road in quite a while now. First-year head coach Billy Donovan and the Bulls will face the Indiana Pacers on the road at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on the road on Feb. 15, with tip off time set for 6 p.m. CT.
Donovan and the Bulls will head into that meeting with the Pacers on the road with a record of 10-15, looking to stay afloat in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Their last game resulted in a tough 125-106 loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers at home at the United Center on the night of Feb. 12.
The month of February had a lighter schedule in terms of overall difficulty out of the gates compared to January, but the results didn’t show through in the win column right away. Injuries to the likes of fourth-year power forward Lauri Markkanen and third-year center Wendell Carter Jr. really hurt the Bulls of late, and it could be a while before the former of those two big men is back in the lineup.
If the Bulls do want to find more stability in the frontcourt rotation, they will have to shore up the depth in the very near future. Here’s a deeper look into five current free agent targets that the Bulls could have in mind to add help for the frontcourt rotation.
