3) Chicago Bulls players that can help push for the playoffs

Coby White, Point Guard

An absolutely electric performance on the night of Feb. 10 in their win over the Pelicans at home, second-year former North Carolina Tar Heels point guard Coby White came through in a big way. It was the best outing for the 6-foot-5 20-year-old White in a good while, as he was pretty downtrodden in the last few weeks.

It’s the Bulls top backcourt combination in the starting five that can help this team really start to find more sustained success in the win column in the near future. But if this type of production and efficiency is going to start shining through from White, it will be a real game changer for Donovan and the Bulls.

Bulls fans saw White go nuclear in the second half, and finish up with what was likely his most efficient and most explosive scoring game of the season so far. It will take a while, though, for White to get his per game stats and advanced metrics up to par for the season as a whole.

So far this season, White has played in all of the two dozen games for the Bulls (all of which he’s started in), averaging around 33 minutes on the floor per game. And he’s averaged 15.5 points per game, 4.7 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.1 blocks. White shot an improved 40.3 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from beyond the arc, and 87.0 percent from the free-throw line.
