2. Bulls take a chance on Mo Bamba

Mo Bamba‘s career has not gotten off to the start that many had thought it would when the Orlando Magic took the Texas center with the No. 6 pick in the 2018 NBA draft.

The 22 year old big man has been stuck on the bench all season, only appearing in nine games so far at 6.6 minutes per game.

In his limited playing time though, Bamba has looked far better than he has in seasons past. Just last week he totaled 14 points on 7-8 FG and seven rebounds against the Bulls, although most of those numbers came during garbage time.

Still, it’s completely possible that the Bulls saw something in Bamba during their 118-92 blowout win over the Orlando Magic.

Bamba would be a great low cost pick up for the Bulls, considering the Magic seem content letting him sit on the bench. The former lottery pick has an insane 7-foot-10 wingspan, putting his defensive potential through the roof.

The Magic meanwhile would pick up backcourt depth to go behind rookie Cole Anthony in Ryan Arcidiacano, as well as draft capital and Luke Kornet‘s expiring contract.
