1. Chicago Bulls trade for Andre Drummond

The Bulls don’t necessarily need to make a splash in their hunt for a big man, but adding Andre Drummond would add a whole new dimension to the offense and defense.

Besides Drummond’s stature as an interior defender (1.3 blocks per game, 1.7 steals per game), the two-time All-Star is possibly the best rebounder in the league right now (14.2 RPG, second in the NBA).

Drummond’s rebounding would bring a new level to a Bulls attack that ranks 22nd in offensive rebounds per game, as does his strengths as a roll man and a post presence.

With just one year left on Drummond’s contract, the veteran big could be the perfect short term fill at the center position for the Bulls.

On the Cavaliers end, the over-performing 10-15 team gets wing depth in Otto Porter, and offloads a player who’s been long expected to be traded with 22 year old Jarrett Allen coming off the bench in Cleveland.
