2021 NBA Mock Draft Version 1.0: At the quarter mark of NBA season
After a long hiatus of having nothing to write about, it is good to be thinking about the NBA Draft and NBA basketball again. A long hiatus has brought us to our 2021 NBA Mock Draft 1.0. After two relatively weak draft classes in a row, the 2021 NBA Draft pool is absolutely loaded with talent. There are franchise-changing players in this class, which is exciting for rebuilding rosters looking for the one to bring a championship to their franchise.
Even teams picking outside of the top-five will have the chance to grab a player with serious potential, something we haven’t seen in some time.
The Chicago Bulls are currently slated to pick 11th and 38th in this draft, with the team starting to make a push towards the Playoffs. There was a point about a week and a half ago when the Bulls were set to pick fifth overall in this draft, showing a nice turnaround from Billy Donovan and company. There is no clear direction for this pick for the Bulls, who have no glaring needs on their roster, but still find themselves struggling to compete for a playoff spot in the East.
This first Mock Draft of 2021 will be the same format as ones in the past. It will take you from picks one through thirty eight, providing in-depth analysis of the team needs, player fits, statistics, attributes, and more. The draft order for this mock was set after the Bulls win on Monday, marking the one quarter mark of the season.
Additionally, all traded picks are marked as so and all picks are assumed to be held that are not currently traded.
