The second straight poor showing for the Chicago Bulls resulted in a loss to the Pacers on Dec. 26, and potential rotation changes looming.

Another downtrodden performance for the Chicago Bulls under the direction of first-year head coach Billy Donovan did not give this team a good look on the night of Dec. 26. The Bulls notched their second loss of this 2020-21 regular season slate at home at the United Center this weekend, this time at the hands of the divisional foe Indiana Pacers.

The Bulls fell short to the Pacers by the final score of 125-106. It was nearly the second straight loss for the Bulls where they both gave up more than 120 points, and loss by at least a 20 point margin at the same time. But losing by 19 points at the hands of the Pacers kept the Bulls from building that bad trend.

The fact of the matter remains that it looks like there will be a lot of adjustments in the rotation in the very near future for Donovan and the Bulls. It was going to be a patient process either way with all of the changes made within the Bulls organization from the top-down during the offseason.

Donovan and newly hired executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas could still make a very positive impact for this rebuild, but changes are going to be needed. It is evident that the current rotation at hand for the Bulls just is not getting the job done.

If Donovan doesn’t see improvements out of his Bulls team in their next game up, against the Golden State Warriors at home on Dec. 27, changes will surely be on the way soon.

But from what we’ve seen from this Bulls team through two games, which reserve players in the rotation deserve more playing time in the very near future?
