3) Stars Chicago Bulls fans should want for Christmas

Ben Simmons, Point Guard

A true star point guard is what the Bulls are hoping their second-year former North Carolina Tar Heels floor general Coby White will turn into in the near future. Even White turning into a quality starter would be a good way for them to see his development turn out. But there are other star point guards out there that Bulls fans would love to see come to the Windy City.

One that is definitely worth mentioning is the Philadelphia 76ers star 6-foot-10 and 240 pound 24-year-old Ben Simmons. Star center Joel Embiid and Simmons got off to a very nice start this season with the Sixers, notching a win at home over Russell Westbrook, Bradley Beal, and the Washington Wizards on Dec. 23.

Simmons is also coming off a solid third year in the NBA. During the shortened 2019-20 regular season, Simmons played in 57 games for the Sixers (all of which he started in). And he averaged 16.4 points per game, 7.8 rebounds, 8.0 assists, an NBA-leading 2.1 steals, and 0.6 blocks. Simmons shot 58.0 percent from the field, 28.6 percent from beyond the arc, and 62.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Moreover, Simmons individually had a nice start in the Sixers season opening win over the Wizards earlier in the week. He registered 16 points, on 7-of-12 shooting from the field and just 2-of-6 from the free-throw line, to go along with nine rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and three blocks.

Adding Simmons to the mix would be an immediate fix for any backcourt woes this Bulls rebuild is having.
