Tip off night for the Chicago Bulls four-game preseason slate is upon us, as they prepare to take on the Houston Rockets at home on Dec. 11.
The tip off of the preseason slate for the Chicago Bulls is almost upon us. After roughly nine months of no meaningful game action taking place at the United Center in Chicago, the Bulls will take back to the hardwood to face the Houston Rockets and the star guard pairing of James Harden and the recently acquired John Wall, on Dec. 11 with tip off set for 7 p.m. CT.
This matchup with the Rockets is one of two of its kind that the Bulls will get at home during their four-game preseason slate at the United Center. After facing the Rockets twice at home, the Bulls will hit the road to round out their preseason slate against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Dec. 17 and 19.
Then, the regular season schedule tips off on Dec. 23 at home at the United Center against star point guard Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks. That will be the first regular season game that the Bulls played at the United Center since mid-March, in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic, in a win over the divisional foe Cleveland Cavaliers.
Training Camp is also well underway for the Bulls at the Advocate Center. Individual player workouts started back on Dec. 1, and group workouts starting taking place earlier this week. It’s good to see the Bulls back in this process, especially with all of the changes that were made within the organization from the top-down this offseason. This will be a hopefully rejuvenated rotation under the direction of newly hired head coach Billy Donovan.
Here’s a look into how the Bulls preseason rotation projects out just ahead of tip off against the Rockets on Dec. 11.
