There is a new face to the potential trade block that would make sense for Arturas Karnisovas and the Chicago Bulls heading into next season.

There’s a lot to be excited about with what the Chicago Bulls can bring to the table in this round of Training Camp, which began on Dec. 1. Individual player workouts resumed at the Advocate Center for the first time in a couple of months earlier this week, and team workouts in camp will begin next week.

An offseason full of change for the Bulls organization amounted to a lot of personnel shifts in the front office, scouting department, and coaching staff. But the roster construction didn’t change a whole lot so far this offseason. That’s not all that surprising, though, given the Bulls lack of cap space and not having all that many big time talents to go after in this cycle of free agency.

Most notably, the Bulls hired Arturas Karnisovas to be the executive vice president of basketball operations. He will replace John Paxson as the lead voice in the front office. They also hired Marc Eversley to replace Gar Forman as general manager, and Billy Donovan to replace Jim Boylen as head coach.

A lot of the excitement brewing around the Bulls right now has to do with the hiring of the former Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Donovan heading into next season. Donovan is a proven winner and likely the best head coach that the Bulls had since Tom Thibodeau.

Once next season begins, with the entirety of the NBA slate tipping off on Dec. 22, Karnisovas and the Bulls might look to make more moves on the trade market. It feels like a lot of the moves that Karnisovas and the Bulls made this offseason was to build to a new philosophy and have more versatility come the highly coveted 2021 free agent cycle.

Here’s a look at the three most likely Bulls players to be traded after this cycle of free agency and the 2020 NBA Draft, heading into the 2020-21 season.
