A lot of the more important dates for the 2020-21 NBA season pertaining to the Chicago Bulls were announced on the afternoon of Nov. 28.

There will be a lot of relevant news dropped around the NBA in the next few days pertaining to the Chicago Bulls. Earlier this week, the Bulls saw their preseason schedule drop ahead of the start of the 2020-21 regular season. They will get the Houston Rockets at home for two games, starting on Dec. 11, and then the Oklahoma City Thunder twice on the road.

The preseason will run from Dec. 11-19. NBA teams will get no more than four preseason games this year.

However, more key dates were announced for the 2020-21 NBA season on Nov. 28, ranging from the Hall-of-Fame inductions, all the way to how the regular season would be split up. The start of the 2020-21 regular season is still set for Dec. 22. And the start of Training Camp is still set for Dec. 1.

Granted the start of Training Camp does not mean that group workouts will start right away. It will only be individual player workouts for the first five days. Then Dec. 6 sees the start of group workouts for the Bulls at the Advocate Center, for the first time in a couple of months.

The key dates calendar marks that the “first half” of the regular season will take place from Dec. 22-March 4. Since the regular season schedule is supposed to be released in two parts, and the second half of it is set to begin on March 11. That is due to the five day “All-Star Break” set to take place from March 5-10.

Although the usual All-Star Weekend that was supposed to take place next season in Indianapolis was postponed to 2024.

It is also worth nothing that the new play-in tournament is set to take place from May 18-21, and the NBA playoffs will officially begin on May 22. If the Bulls can get a nice jump in the Eastern Conference standings from all the organizational changes from the front office, all the way down to the coaching staff, then they could be involved in the play-in tournament, or straight in the playoffs.
