Which directions could Arturas Karnisovas and the Chicago Bulls go for the remaining days of this cycle of free agency with any targets left unsigned?

It seems like most of this cycle of free agency is wrapped up for the Chicago Bulls. Newly hired executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley mostly held to the status quo with the way they’ve shaped the roster so far this offseason.

The two most notable additions to the roster so far this offseason were products of the 2020 NBA Draft, which took place back on Nov. 18. The Bulls selected the former Florida State Seminoles freshman forward and reigning ACC Sixth Man of the Year Patrick Williams with the fourth overall pick in the draft lottery. They also picked up the KK Mega Bemax 21-year-old big man Marko Simonovic 44th overall in the second round of the draft.

But Simonovic likely isn’t going to be on the Bulls 15-man roster at least until the start of the 2021-22 season. He seems like more of a draft-and-stash pick for the Bulls than a potential hidden second round gem that can make an immediate impact like Daniel Gafford did during his rookie campaign.

The second other notable pick up for the Bulls from the draft was actually amid the pool of undrafted free agents. They signed former Kansas Jayhawks star point guard Devon Dotson in the hours following the conclusion of the second round of the draft. Dotson is likely to maintain a two-way contract slot out of the gates next season.

Moreover, the Bulls only notable addition among unrestricted free agents so far is the former Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Garrett Temple. Temple probably will assume some hybrid role in the rotation that Kris Dunn and Shaquille Harrison did last season.

Nonetheless, there are still moves that the Bulls could make on the free agent market if they want to make some more roster moves before Training Camp starts on Dec. 1. Here’s a look into three of the best free agent targets remaining on the open market.
