1) Chicago Bulls trades to get Kemba Walker
And the final trade proposal on this list has the most going between the Bulls and Celtics on draft night 2020. While a few of the other trade deals that could happen, including one on this list, after draft night, this one can’t. The Bulls get a good portion of the Celtics draft picks that they hold on what will be a very busy night for them on Nov. 18.
What the Bulls send off to the Celtics includes White, WCJ, and OPJ. In return, they get Langford, Walker, and the No. 14 and 30 overall picks in the first round of the 2020 draft. The Celtics got the No. 14 pick from the Grizzlies and the No. 30 pick from the Milwaukee Bucks. This is all part of the draft capital that the Celtics stacked up in the last five years.
However, the Bulls are definitely parting ways with a lot here. The thing is that the backcourt rotation will start to get very busy if the Bulls were to land the likes of Langford and Walker. And Karnisovas and Eversley would likely want to move quicker into contender status if they were able to get their hands on Walker.
To add more fuel to the flame in this particular discussion, it doesn’t seem like the new front office regime feels that White is set to be a true point guard for the future of this franchise. That would leave the Bulls having to decide between LaVine and White for who they could play at the two. It’s difficult to imagine them running White and the two and LaVine at the three.
