1) Chicago Bulls veteran guard targets

Pick Analysis. Combo Guard. Age: 28. player. Scouting Report. Victor Oladipo. 1. 100

Configuring a trade within the Central Division between two teams with playoff aspirations, and involving big name players, will never be easy. And the Bulls don’t have a whole lot of immediate impact players to offer to other teams around the Central Division, like the Indiana Pacers and the Bucks can bring to the table.

But the Bulls do have a lot of future assets and key pieces of their young core that they can bring to the table for any trade discussions/offerings. In a case where the Bulls hypothetically get into trade discussions with the Pacers, two likely names that could come to the forefront are former Indiana Hoosiers standout combo guard Victor Oladipo and former Texas Longhorns two-way big man Myles Turner.

And if the Bulls are looking to add a veteran guard, then trading for Dipo would make the most sense. The 6-foot-4 and 215 pound guard is currently still trying to return to form after suffering a ruptured quad in the midst of the 2018-19 regular season. Dipo showed flashes last season, especially in the bubble at Disney World, but nothing consistent like he was as a two-time All-Star selection previously in Indy.

During the shortened 2019-20 regular season with the Pacers, Dipo played in 19 games (16 of which he started in). And he averaged 14.5 points per game, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.2 blocks. Dipo shot 39.4 percent from the field, 31.7 percent from beyond the arc, and 81.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Trading for Dipo would hopefully bring some close return to form. If the Bulls did get anything close to what Dipo was like before the ruptured quad, he would bring a ton of value.
