1) Chicago Bulls draft targets that fit with LaVine

If the Bulls somehow see the former NBL Illawarra Hawks 6-foot-7 19-year-old playmaking point guard LaMelo Ball fall to them in the fourth slot in this draft lottery, they would be incredibly fortunate. The top three of this draft lottery is figured to be some form of the former Memphis Tigers center James Wiseman, Georgia Bulldogs shooting guard Anthony Edwards, and LaMelo.

But of those three, the most likely to fall out of the top three would be LaMelo. And he could also be the most beneficial to play alongside LaVine. Considering that LaVine is still a very solid shooter from multiple different areas of on the offensive end of the floor and he can create a lot of his own looks, getting that facilitating and creating ability of LaMelo alongside him would be huge.

The Bulls would completely shift the look of their backcourt in the starting five if they were able to pair LaMelo along with LaVine. It would be difficult to figure out what they could do with White, but at least they would boost up the depth in the backcourt rotation.

There’s a lot that Ball still has to improve on his game, namely his shooting from downtown and off-ball defense, but he’s very special in transition and anytime he has the ball in his hands. Ball has the length and overall gifted physical tools to become a lethal on-ball defender if he can get better and show more effort in that regard.

The playmaking and efficient facilitating on offense, and length and raw athleticism on defense, would be a really nice pairing for the Bulls with Ball alongside LaVine. They have skill sets that look to compliment each other nicely.
