Holding the fourth and 44th overall picks in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls have a plethora of options to find a true playmaker.

Where the Chicago Bulls and recently hired executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas go with their fourth overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery will say a lot about this front office’s plans for the roster heading into the fourth year of the rebuild. Karnisovas (the former Denver Nuggets general manager) and general manager Marc Eversley (the former Philadelphia 76ers senior VP of player personnel) have a lot of resources to make things work for this rebuild for the remainder of the offseason.

With the retooling of the front office and coaching staff nearly complete, the Bulls can now turn their focus to getting the roster construction right. The Bulls already replaced Jim Boylen with the former Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Billy Donovan officially back on Sep. 22. And then Donovan has assembled a coaching staff featuring the likes of Chris Fleming, John Bryant, and Maurice Cheeks, among others.

The night of the 2020 NBA Draft is set to take place on Nov. 18. The Bulls hold the fourth overall pick in the draft lottery, and the original Memphis Grizzlies 44th pick in the second round. There’s a lot that the Bulls could do after getting that nice stroke of luck in the draft lottery, jumping up three spots in the odds order to get the four slot.

Two needs that the Bulls can address in this draft is adding wing depth in the rotation and adding another playmaker to the backcourt behind the likes of point guard Coby White and shooting guard Zach LaVine.

Here’s a look into three underrated playmakers that the Bulls could target in the 2020 NBA Draft (first or second round).
