3) Most efficient defenders in Chicago Bulls history: Dennis Rodman

The only big man/forward that could really rival the efforts and raw tenacity that the Bulls got in the post from Noah is with the Hall-of-Fame 6-foot-7 and 210 pound power forward Dennis Rodman. An inductee of the Hall-of-Fame class of 2011, “The Worm” got what he deserved as one of the best defenders and rebounders in NBA history among players at his position.

Really the only player that is better statistically in terms of rebounding in NBA history than Rodman is the Cleveland Cavaliers center Andre Drummond. During his playing days in the NBA, Rodman was a two-time All-Star selection, a whopping seven-time rebounding champ, five-time NBA Champion, two-time All-NBA Team selection, eight-time All-Defensive Team selection, and two-time Defensive Player of the Year.

Although he did get a plethora of accolades from his defensive production, the only that Rodman got as a member of the Bulls was a First-Team All-Defensive Team selection in 1995-96. His two Defensive Player of the Year awards came with the Detroit Pistons. Two of his five titles also came with the Bulls division rival Pistons.

However, in the three seasons that Rodman played with the Bulls, he was still very solid on defense. He averaged 5.2 points per game, 15.3 rebounds (9.7 on defense), 2.8 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.3 blocks. And he registered a 98 defensive rating, 0.4 defensive box plus/minus rating, 14.5 defensive win shares, a whopping 32.3 defensive rebounding percentage, 0.9 steal percentage, and 0.7 block percentage.
