A very rare basketball card featuring Chicago Bulls all-time greats Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen is selling for north of $200K right now.

The explosion of the sports cards/memorabilia market (and even just collectibles) surrounding the Chicago Bulls all-time great shooting guard Michael Jordan and some of his teammates from the dynasty years of the 1990’s in the past six or eight months is pretty crazy. A lot of the greatest players in the history of the Bulls franchise saw the value of their cards and memorabilia skyrocket since the onset of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Another event that happened in the last six months that helped the propulshion of a lot of these cards and memorabilia for the players from the Bulls dynasty years was the premier of the hit 10-part documentary series “The Last Dance”. The likes of Hall-of-Fame forwards Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, along with Jordan, guard Steve Kerr, forward Toni Kukoc, etc. all have their cards and memorabilia stock exploding of late.

The Last Dance and constant Jordan headlines during the COVID-19 outbreak induced pause to the 2019-20 season caused this explosion for MJ in particular. One particular card that hit the auction block recently that is exploding in value is a 2005-06 Upper Deck Exquisite Jordan/Pippen Dual Logo Tag Autograph that is the only one of its kind.

This special Jordan/Pippen dual game-used logo tag, and autograph, that is the only one of its kind was listed on the block on Goldin Auctions within the last week. It is currently bidding up above $200,000, at $220K specifically.

This card was listed as part of a featured lot of auctions on the site for a number of other high-priced single cards. That group of featured auctions included a Mike Trout prospect autograph, original Honus Wagner, and an original Mickey Mantle graded card.
